The Huay Mongkol Temple is located about 10 km west of Hua Hin.
Many Buddhist pilgrims come to visit the temple every weekend to pay tribute to the greatest image of Luang Phor Tuad’s Buddha in Thailand.
Wat Huay Mongkol was the house of the monk who was famous for his miracles.
Not only is Wat Huay Mongkol considered a holy place, but it is also a leisure area for visitors.
Unlike many temples, there is no extraordinary or richly decorated building here, but essentially statues including that of the monk Luang Phor Tuad and especially a magnificent park with many aspects, ideal for a walk, a picnic and spending the day there.
Waterfalls, streams, bridges and small pavilions.
We were able to observe a beautiful iguana, fish, deer, etc...
