This morning, I found, buried in the sand on the beach, a ball of Sepak Takraw.

Sepak takraw (from Malay-Indonesian sepak, which means "to kick", and from Thai takraw, "ball") is a team sport, close to volleyball, which is practised mainly in Southeast Asian countries where it is very popular, especially in Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand.

It is practised on a field similar to a volleyball court, with a lower net, and a ball traditionally braided in rattan, but maintaining most often in plastic.

According to Wikipedia, in Thailand, Sepak Takaw is considered a national sport on a par with Muay Thai boxing

But according to my partner Run, today this sport is no longer practised too much and above all it does not interest the younger generations. In any case, I didn’t see anyone play there, and no announcement for matches, while the Muay Thai fight announcements, we see them all the time.
