To leave the mind and the light luggage, you have to get rid of the superfluous, and it’s not so easy. Even if like me, you have unloaded yourself over the course of moving to smaller and smaller apartments of many of your belongings, the closets remain cluttered.
And here, it’s a matter of leaving with a bag, or even 2. That is to say 3 pants, 4 or 5 shorts, 4 t-shirts (I’m not a fan of T-shirts), a dozen polo shirts, underwear, a rain garment, 2 pairs of shoes, and the minimum to play golf anywhere...
What to do with the rest?
I divided into 3 "lots":
What I keep because they are
- memories, photo albums, gifts
- I may need it when/if I come back one day to settle in the area
- I just want to keep it
-
- game console
-
- CD
-
- Books
-
- Comics
-
- Golf decoration
What I’m trying to sell or give
- To Emmaus
-
- Clothes
-
- Dishes
-
- Some decorative objects or lamps, etc..
- To the family
-
- Mask, fins, combi, body board that I can also use when I’m passing through
What I throw away
- Because too old (clothes)
- Because too loaded with memories to evacuate
- Because I don’t even know what it was for and why I kept it
