The Thai authorities expelled two French nationals after the broadcast of a viral video showing them in an explicit situation aboard a tuk-tuk.

The case, which aroused strong indignation on social networks, resulted in severe administrative and criminal sanctions. The couple’s behaviour, considered offensive to public order and harmful to Thailand’s tourist image, led to the revocation of their visas and their banishment from the territory.
