Some time ago, on a Facebook group, I expressed my despair at seeing age affect my game and at no longer being able to project my ball to the driver beyond 200/220 metres. It’s despairing, but what can you do ?

And so, with the same cause (age) but different consequences, I realised that the composition of my bag was becoming somewhat incompatible with my physical abilities : for the last ten years or so, I’ve been playing with a driver and only irons, from the 2-iron upwards. So it seemed essential to me, partly on the advice of my youngest daughter, to put away my long irons for a while and replace them with fairway woods. But I wasn’t quite sure how effective this would be, so I initially turned to second-hand clubs.

This is my chance to introduce you to this unusual shop in my home town of Hua Hin, Thailand.

A kind of warehouse dedicated solely to the "second hand", with an incredible quantity of very old clubs. Collectors beware : you’ll find just about every Persimmon model ever made here. But if you come here often, you’ll find a few nuggets like these 2 Nike fairway woods, old but in great condition, which I paid 1400 baths (36€) for with the practice bag as a gift.
