Departure from Barcelona on September 5th with Emirates. It’s been a long time since I’ve traveled on anything other than short flights with low-cost airlines.
Travelling with Emirates was a very interesting experience. It is not the most expensive airline, even if it is clearly above LowCost, but I doubt that much more expensive airlines like Air France can compete in terms of services:
– Friendliness and professionalism of the flight crew
– Width and spacing of the seats
– Quality of the individual multimedia service with a multilingual movie and music offer
– Very good quality headphones carefully wrapped in plastic
– Various extremely copious and tasty meals and snacks that also make the time go by faster
– Impeccable piloting
I’ll probably travel next times on this airline. Why look elsewhere?
A rather long stopover (5 hours) in the gigantic airport of Dubai where I had a little difficulty to find my way but there again the availability of the staff was good
Arrived without problems in Bangkok, very fast passage to the immigration (it is not the case for all, France is part of the countries with simplified process)
The taxi ordered on Booking is there, it advises me to buy a Sim card and withdraw money.
Arrived in Bangkok at 19h00, local time, I will be at the hotel at 21h30 finally after the various steps and the recovery of my suitcase.
I am in Thailand, it will be time to discover the country tomorrow after a good night of sleep.
