– Cardiac workup, ultrasound, stress test. All clean. Heart rate under 60
– Dental check-up Given the cost of the implants proposed by my dentist, we were content to treat the cavities with a few crowns.
– Angiology check-up which led to the removal of a saphenous vein, as a precaution, given the hot and humid climate that awaits me.
– Vaccination
My doctor (the best in the world) made an appointment for me at the SMIT (Service des Maladies Infectieuses et Tropicales) at the hospital.
A very competent doctor welcomed me, asked me about the countries I was going to visit, and proposed a series of vaccines:
- DTCP (I was up to date but there was no danger of revaccinating)
- Japanese encephalitis
- Rabies
- Typhoid
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Covid 4th dose as a precaution
– First aid kit I’m leaving with a complete first aid kit, to be ready for any eventuality. This prescription was also given to me by the SMIT doctor.
